This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Broker to join our team.  If you have 3-5 years of experience in the London/Lloyd’s insurance market and a positive record for placing business, understanding clients' needs, managing facilities, and assisting in the production and retention of business, we’d love to hear from you.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Placing Business: Utilize your expertise to place business effectively within the Lloyd’s/London Company insurance market.
  • Client Management: Understand and anticipate clients' needs, providing tailored insurance solutions that exceed their expectations.
  • Facility Management: Manage and maintain insurance facilities, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with industry standards.
  • Business Development: Assist in the production of new business, leveraging your network and industry knowledge to bring in new clients.
  • Retention Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to retain current business, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

 

Work Arrangement:

  • Office-Based: Spend 3-4 days a week in the office, collaborating with colleagues and clients.
  • Remote Work: Enjoy the flexibility of working from home for the remaining days, ensuring a balanced and productive work environment.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 3-5 years in the Lloyd’s/London Company insurance market, with a proven track record in broking.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the London/Lloyd’s market, including regulations, key markets, and market trends.
  • Client-Focused: Strong ability to understand and address clients' needs, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all transactions.
  • Team Player: Collaborative spirit, able to work effectively within a team to achieve common goals.
  • Self-Motivated: Proactive and driven, with a passion for delivering results and driving business growth.
  • Microsoft Office: Be proficient in Microsoft Office, most importantly the Excel platform.
