Client Account Executive – Aviation

This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

We currently have several exciting opportunities for experienced Account Executives to come and join us to support on renewals and new business Aviation risks.

As an Account Executive within the Aviation team you will be responsible for the creation of MRC Slips, Account/Client Handling the Risks from Inception to expiry, final adjustments, progressing risks onwards to Processing teams. Liasing with clients/producing agents to explain slip coverage, risks, premiums flows. Broking responsibilities include canvassing markets on new inquiries, discussing renewal premiums, mid-term adjustments under guidance (if required).  

Key Responsibilities:

Office supporting all teams: -

  • MRC Slip Production
  • MRC Endorsements
  • Progressing Risks, file onwards to Processing Teams

Liaising with underwriters including: -

  • Telephone
  • Email
  • Face to face
  • Support Brokers

Back-up Broking activities including: -

  • Canvassing Markets
  • Renewal discussions
  • Mid-term risks movements
  • Support to brokers

Liasing with Clients: -

  • New Business information/quotations
  • Renewal information/quotations
  • Mid-term adjustments
  • Premium queries
  • Issuing certificates of Insurance and associated documentation, ATL28, AVN67B, Certificates
  • Premium Excel Spreadsheets, NCBs, PC Calculations, Aircraft Lay-up returns.
  • Supporting client meetings

Team involvement

  • Supporting whole team
  • Supporting Training development of junior staff.   

Qualifications & Experience:

Aviation Insurance Experience mandatory, no less than Directorship Level or 6-8 Years account handling equivalent.

Preferential Account handling experience across all 3 disciplines Airlines, General Aviation, Aerospace – Minimum, General Aviation experience mandatory.
